Roger Kowalski grew up in Bloomington and graduated with Bloomington High School's first graduating class in 1965. He has lived in Grand Terrace with his wife since 1972. Mr. Kowalski is proud to say that both his wife and daughter are also CJUSD alumnae. He is one of the co-founders of the APPLE Scholarship Foundation and chaired the Measure G Bond campaign in 2008. As a former teacher and site and district administrator, he has served on various CJUSD committees, including the Strategic Plan. Mr. Kowalski is dedicated to supporting students in their post-secondary goals. Every year he presents a Bloomington High School senior with the Kowalski Scholarship, a fund his daughter began in 2008 as a retirement gift.
As a CJUSD employee, prior to his election in November 2010, Mr. Kowalski focused on increasing the graduation and college-going rates and supporting the district on the road to academic achievement for all students. As a board member, he carries forth these goals while embracing the implementation of Common Core and supporting the district's 21st Century Learner endeavor. Mr. Kowalski's goals also include building partnerships to support the county's Alliance for Education, as well as, the district's Purposeful Community project. In addition, he desires to serve all CJUSD stake holders, create and maintain safe schools for students and employees, protect classrooms from budget cuts, minimize job loss and maintain a balanced budget.

As an actively involved parent of school aged children, he has served on several school and district committees, including the PTA, Agua Mansa PTA, Agua Mansa PTA Scholarship Committee, and the Spirit of Bloomington High School Band Booster Club, as well as being a former member of the Measure G - Citizens' Oversight Committee. In addition, Mr. Ceniceros is an avid supporter of the District Science Fair, GATE programs and band.
As one of CJUSD's newest board members, Mr. Ceniceros brings to the board an enthusiasm and commitment to lead the district out of Program Improvement status, improve the graduation rate, encourage students to pursue post secondary education, develop policies to enhance learning, and prohibit bullying and school violence.

Dan Flores is a graduate and lifelong resident of the Colton Joint Unified School District. Dan has eight years of public administration experience with the County of San Bernardino. He is currently the Chief of Staff for San Bernardino County Supervisor Josie Gonzales. Dan holds a bachelor's degree from Georgetown University, a Master of Theological Studies from Harvard Divinity School, and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Southern California. His priorities as a Trustee include balancing the district's budget, improving vocational and workforce training opportunities for students, and fulfilling the facilities improvements approved by the voters in Measure G.
Dan and his wife Abby live in Colton with their sons Toby and Leo. Dan is invested in the local community as a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Native Sons of the Golden West, and a former member the Measure G Citizen's Oversight Committee. Dan also serves on the Board of Directors for Mustard Seed Tutorial Center in San Bernardino.

Laura Morales resides in the City of Grand Terrace with her husband and children. Mrs. Morales is currently attending the University of Phoenix where she plans to obtain her Bachelor of Science degree in Communications. Mrs. Morales is the Executive Director for the Colton Chamber of Commerce. She works closely with the area's business community and also serves as a board member for the Colton Police Activities League (PAL). Her daily interaction with parents in the community enhances her ability to effectively represent parents and the Colton Joint Unified School District.
Mrs. Morales is committed to continuing the development of strong and productive community partnerships between educators, parents and students to promote healthy, safe, and enriching schools. She will embrace the challenges and celebrate the successes of the District while working collaboratively with District and community stakeholders.
