Our MISSION is to establish CHS as an award-winning, exemplary, California Distinguished High School that provides a supportive, collaborative, and stimulating learning environment where staff and students achieve the highest standards of excellence through P.R.I.D.E.
6:00 PM - 7:50 PM Parent Informational Night
Registration days provide families with the opportunity to submit their emergency card, clear any debts, purchase items from the business office, take the school picture and pick up a tentative schedule so students know where classrooms are located. This allows students to be ready to go for the first day of school. All registration days occur from 8 AM to 11 AM, and 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM.
In order for students to receive their schedules, they must have completed emergency card (may be picked up from the office during the week of July 17 from 8 – 2 or downloaded from the documents below in English and Spanish)
Dress code will be enforced. Please review our dress code below before back to school shopping!
Students should be prepared to have their pictures taken during registration for their ID cards. Students will be expected to show their current ID cards upon entering our campus during the entire school year.

The California Student Aid Commission offers financial aid in the form of Cal Grants to eligible students. A Cal Grant is money for college you don’t have to pay back. The California Student Aid Commission requires our high school to submit all 12th graders Grade Point Averages by October 1 each year unless guardians choose to opt out. If you would like to opt out of this process and you understand that your student will no longer be eligible for a Cal Grant, please make an appointment to see your student’s high school counselor to complete the form. Please click here for more information.
Submit your FAFSA! Students will use earlier income information. Beginning with the 2017-18 FAFSA, students will be required to report income information from an earlier tax year. For example, on the 2017-18 FAFSA, students (and parents, as appropriate) will report their 2016 income information, rather than their 2017 income information
