Thank you for visiting our school website! My name is Jessica Gomez. For the past 10 years, I have had the honor of serving the amazing Alice Birney community as the Principal. As your principal, I am committed to serving our students, staff and community with passion, tenacity, compassion, and love. I am blessed to be part of a dynamic staff of dedicated, talented, caring and committed educators and love working with our wonderful and brilliant students.  As parents, guardians and family, you are your child’s first and greatest teacher.  Together as a loving school community—family and school—working as a mutually trusted and respected team, we can "create magic" for our students.  

The Birney teaching and support staff are committed to providing caring and safe learning environments that educate the minds along with encouraging the hearts and spirits of our students.  Our staff provides powerful and challenging curriculum and instructional activities designed to meet the educational needs of students.
