Boone, Stephen

Mr. Boone was raised in Redlands and attended Redlands public schools. His parents were locally self-employed and he grew up in a family owned business. He graduated from Redlands Senior High in June 1972. He was a member of the first graduating class of Crafton Hills College in June 1974 with an A.S. in Business Administration. Mr. Boone graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Management from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in June 1978, and received a Master’s Degree in Health Care Management from Loma Linda University in September 1981.


Mr. Boone worked in healthcare financial management from 1981-1995. He directed a network of home health agencies in the Chicago area and ambulatory services in Loma Linda for just over two years, managing the marketing and setting up new ambulatory programs. He was senior hospital management, working in finance, marketing and teaching at the Sir Run Run Shaw hospital and clinic in Hangzhou, China, from 1995-1997.  Upon returning from China, Mr. Boone began pursuing his formal teaching career. He taught some courses at CSUSB, LLU, and Victor Valley College, as well as a local health career college. He worked as a financial and support services manager at The Quiet Hour Ministries from 1998-2002. He attended the School of Education at the University of Redlands from 2004-2006, and received his single subject teaching credential in Business in 2007.


Mr. Boone is currently teaching business classes at GTHS. He has been teaching since 2008.
