Jackson-Henry, Jordan

Mrs. Jackson-Henry teaches English II, AVID 9, and serves as our PBIS Coordinator.  She began her college career at Riverside Community College then later transferred to the University of California, Riverside where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing. During her time at UCR, Mrs. Henry studied a variety of genres including poetry, graphic novels, and science fiction in addition to creating her own original poetry and short stories.  Mrs. Henry received her Master of Education with an emphasis in general education from the Graduate School of Education at UCR. Mrs. Jackson-Henry is passionate about helping her students see the value of their education. When analyzing a text she challenges her students to see the relevancy by examining the world in which they live and even themselves. “My biggest goal as an educator is to create a positive learning environment where students feel inspired, creative and inquisitive.”
