Our Mission

  • Terrace Hills Middle School strives to provide a safe, secure learning environment for all students that encourage responsible, independent, creative and critical thinking skills development.  
    THMS provides the base for lifelong learning opportunities that students, through their actions and goals, will develop respect for themselves and others.
    To accomplish this mission, a working partnership consisting of students, staff, parents and community must exist.

Grand Terrace Operation Safe Passage

  • "The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department is dedicated to ensuring the safe passage of our childres to and from school." Please click here for the Operation Safe Passage brochure which provides information about traffic and school zone laws and safety tips for drivers and children.

    • Cherrydale orders arrived! Please pick up your order at lunch or after school in A3 if you didn't pick it up Oct. 12.
    • The Color Run price has been reduced to $15 per participant. Join us for this unity activity on Oct. 25 from 1:30-5pm here at THMS. Registration deadline is Wed. Oct. 18th 3pm.
    • Parent Conferences are October 16, 17, 18, and 19 (Mon-Thur) from 1:30pm-3:00pm. Parents do not need appointments, please come to the cafeteria first and pick up your student's report card. Then you may visit any or all of your student's teachers between 1:30 and 3:00pm each day.
    • Students will be on Minimum Days October 16-20 and school will get out at 1:23pm. There are no conferences on Friday.

8th Grade Catalina Trip

  • The 8th Grade Catalina Trip leaves THMS at 6:00am on Friday, May 18, 2018 and returns at 2-4:00pm on Sunday, May 20, 2018.

    If you have a confirmed seat for the Catalina Trip, payments of $50.00 each are due on:

    **Per the contract you signed, the following will remove your student from going on the trip (regardless of payment):

    • Any outside suspension 9/20/17-5/17/18
    • More than one inside suspension 9/20/17-5/17/18
    • More than 6 tardies in any quarter beginning 9/20/17
    • Must have a 2.0 GPA for Qtr 1, Sem 1, and Qtr 3
    • More than 8 uncleared period absences and/or truancies in any quarter beginning 9/20/17



Math Tutoring

  • Math Club is available for after school math tutoring on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 3:00-4:00pm. Space is limited. Students must sign up at their designated lunch time in the library each day that they want to stay after school.
