Bloomington High School’s mission is to educate students in a safe, supportive, and academically rigorous learning environment. In order to accomplish this, we will provide a challenging and varied curriculum, offer a range of extracurricular activities, support the use of technology, and promote critical thinking skills to produce both independent and collaborative thinkers who are competent problem solvers.

BUS List Information;
BUS List is temporary. Any student who is on the list can come off of the list.
The list is meant to inform students that they run the risk of not being able to participate in the graduation ceremony.
IF a student received a May Fail or Is Failing on their progress report, they can still potentially fail and have been placed on the list to make sure the students understand not to stop working towards graduation.
IF the class they received this notice for is NOT NEEDED to meet the graduation requirements, then the student will be removed from this list for that class.
The list is comprised of;
Once a student is removed from the list for their class, they cannot be placed back on it.
The only one that can come and go is the attendance requirement.
This list is meant to give the senior class all of May to make sure their affairs are in order. This will make the last day of school a smooth and seamless transition from student to graduate.
The graduation requirements have NOT changed, Bloomington High School is only making the students aware a month prior to graduation that these are the things they need to take care of, rather than waiting for signatures on the last day.
The business office will not sell extra tickets to students who are on this list. If the student never gets off the list and they are sold tickets, then they have tickets that are irrelevant for them…we want to avoid this at all cost.
We are aware that this is new, but please bear with us as this process is meant to help you and student through an already stressful time.
Seniors, as you prepare to leave BHS, remember to transfer the files on your CJUSD Google Drive to a personal computer or personal account. You'll want to do this by May 30 to ensure that you have access to your documents and files.
