Emergency Medicine

DESCRIPTION: Emergency Medicine provides students with the foundational knowledge necessary to move onto the Emergency Responder capstone course. It introduces students to the emergency medical system and dives into the ethics and legal aspects of emergency medicine. This course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology of the human body. This course also gives students a genuine context for the application of the knowledge used to help patients in the field.
